Casa Yamulkan, an open and easy beach house that is the perfect space for friends and family seeking a sophisticated, comfortable retreat, on soft sand beach of Soliman Bay.

Casa Yamulkan is a stucco beach house with grass roof. The main level includes a fully equipped kitchen and dining area which lead you on to the living area. This area opens to a lovely beachside terrace spanning the main level. The beachside terrace is furnished for outdoor dining and comfortable lounging. The main level is spacious and airy drawing on the tropical hideaway theme with the palapa (grass) roof soaring 18 feet and rich hardwoods.

Casa Yamulkan sits just forty feet from the water's edge along the incredible sand beach of Soliman Bay. This large crescent shaped bay is home to only a few private beach homes and is never crowded. An outer barrier reef protects the bay keeping the water calm and making a perfect haven for tropical fish and other marine life. Soliman Bay is therefore excellent for snorkelling and sea kayaking. Along the beach, guests of Casa Yamulkan enjoy a shade palapa for relaxing and enjoying the view. The palapa is furnished with hammocks and lounge chairs.

Casa Yamulkan offers two bedrooms and a loft in the main house. On the main level are two bedrooms, both of traditional stucco construction that are air conditioned. Each bedroom is furnished with a king bed and has it's own bath. Additionally there is a television room which can double as a sleeping room for large groups. Here you can enjoy the SKY satellite television programming, or listen to music on the CD Player. Internet is accessible with pre-paid connection cards available at the house.

On the upper level two additional open and lofty palapa roofed sleeping areas are available. These are both furnished with two double beds. They have great breezes coming through and views of the emerald green vegetation and coastline off to the distance. Both bedroom areas are furnished with ceiling fans hanging from the palapa, and look down onto the living/dining room area. Perfect for the younger members of the group. Yamulkan can accommodate 8 adults and 2 children.

There is an additional sleeping area for two guests that has a private entrance and is detached from the main living area. It is located up the outside stairway leading to the veranda. This room is private for guests seeking a little solitude from the main house. The apartment is furnished with queen bed, table and chairs, bathroom with shower. This room offers a nice view of Soliman bay beach, it also has large windows that catch the breeze. Ceiling fan. No air conditioning.

There are two kayaks for those who want to be energetic, and two charming dogs who come with the house. A new gas grill is also available for guest use.
