This newly built home, decorated in modern
Mexican motif, is a stunning
four bedroom,
four bath
villa accommodating up to twelve guests.

during your vacation in Mexico.
You enter the Villa through an open air
stair tower decorated with light forms and
shadows.
As you reach the first level of the home you
enter an open courtyard with a large bedroom on
each side. Your first view is
the palms, bay, and a spectacular step down pool.
The large courtyard, multi-level deck and
swimming pool are surrounded by lush tropical
plants with steps that lead
you
to the white sand beach. The lovely and private setting
makes this an easy and thoroughly memorable
stay.
There is a large communal dining room table in
the courtyard as well as an outdoor
kitchen with grill. Both bedrooms
have sliding doors that open to the pool deck.
Each bedroom
has
a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee
pot. Each bedroom has a
king bed and a twin studio bed (couch or bed for
third person).
One level up
takes you to the “Main House” with a
breathtaking view of Tankah Bay over the palms
trees. You will enjoy sunrises and sunsets from
the expansive palapa covered deck. The large
centrally located great room offers a
fully equipped kitchen; eat at bar; dining area;
conversation area; and office area. The focal
point of the great room is a naturally
sculptured jungle tree that extends from the
floor, through the bar, to the ceiling.
There are two
large bedrooms, each with private bath.
One bedroom has a
king bed and the other has two queens.
The
palapa covered
rooftop terrace
offers a wet bar, dining table and
comfortable lounges. Perfect for
enjoying the beautiful sunrises and sunsets
of the
Mexican Riviera. Schedule some time for
magnificent night time stargazing.
All the
furniture was designed by a
Mexican architect and hand made by a carpenter
in Bacalar. The wood is all tzalam, and the
furniture is both gorgeous and comfortable. The
house is decorated with a contemporary Mexican
flavour with a great
appreciation for the setting. With handcrafted
tiles and textiles, original artwork, and
traditional and imported furnishings, the villa
is spacious, well appointed and tastefully
decorated.

a clear day with binoculars you can see
the ruins at Tulum. The house is situated so that
it faces south. We actually get to see
both sunrises and sunsets.
Tankah Bay
has its very own reef that acts as a breaker
leaving the bay tranquil with only lap
waves at shore making
snorkelling and
kayaking unbelievable
in the calm clear waters.
Tropical fish, rays and sea turtles are
seen in the bay and coral heads.
This is some of the safest and best snorkelling in the area.
