Main House
Was designed with a roundhouse affect.
The full kitchen, dining and living area
is one large round open room - designed
for social. There is a large standup table
with 4 bar stools that acts as an island
- the dining table is round and seats
4 - the living area is a FUTON, 2 sofa
chairs and a hanging hammock chair. No
matter where you are sitting in this large
spacious room you can carry on a conversation
with others in the room. This house has
wooden shutters through out, for a tropical
breeze flow. Decorated with various shells,
mobiles and handmade textiles from Mexico
reflecting some of the local culture of
the Maya.
Master bedroom
Sleeps 2 - huge room with king
bed, dresser, 2 chairs and very big
closet - with large bright tiled bathroom
and shower - all located at the back of
the house with views of the garden.
The
main house has a large frontal terrace
and gas BBQ grill - ocean and Soliman
Bay views.
Lush
thick plants and coco palms surround the
property - this is great for extra shade
and adds to the feeling of living in tropical
gardens.
Guest House
Sleeps 2 - situated no more that
20 steps out the side the door of the
main house. The guesthouse is furnished
with a queen bed custom design
from local hard wood with 2 chairs, table,
hanging hammock chair and closet space
- private entrance, private bathroom and
shower, private terrace. large French
doors at the front of the guest house
- if opened while lounging in bed, give
you a full view of the Caribbean. Wooden
shutters and the French doors create a
flow through effect of the tropical air.
This
home is environmentally friendly with
alternate solar power.
Beachfront
Palapa
provides shade from the clear blue skies
- while you relax with a book and cool
refreshing drink as you have a wide expanse
view of Soliman bay. Lounge chairs and
hammocks.
Soliman Bay
has it’s very own reef that acts
as a breaker leaving the bay tranquil
with only lap waves at shore making snorkeling
and kayaking - unbelievable in the calm
clear waters. Tropical fish, rays and
sea turtles are seen in the bay and coral
heads.
